Michelle Patterson, Founder of Stiletto Stampede | Michelle Patterson is the co-owner of ShakeWell Creative, a full-service marketing and advertising agency, co-founder of Fiumicino Inc., the company that manufactures and distributes IdealHeel™ and founder of Stiletto Stampede, a non-profit organization focused on raising breast cancer awareness among young people. She has over 10 years of experience in marketing and advertising and a deep appreciation for the entrepreneurial spirit her hometown, Austin, Texas, embodies. Michelle is a proud graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and is active in a variety of professional and philanthropic organizations.
Esther Logan, Board President | Esther Logan is the president of the Stiletto Stampede Board and is exceedingly passionate about being knowledgeable about breast cancer and the cause. She had preventative surgery in August 2009 after finding out she carried the BRCA gene for breast cancer. Esther is a physical medicine and rehabilitation/pain management physician and also regularly competes in triathlons.
Michael Jewell, Board Vice President | Michael Jewell is Government Relations Counsel in Haynes and Boone's Austin office. Michael has been involved in Texas government relations and public policy for more than 25 years. He has helped shape and advocate his clients' public policy positions with state legislators, key executive officials, and state regulatory agencies, including testifying before state legislative committees. Michael also has served on the staff of several state officials, including the Governor of Texas. Michael attended the University of Texas at Austin for both his undergraduate and law school education and is active in a variety of organizations.
Cindy Stepken, Board Member and Corporate Sponsorship Chair | Sales is not just an income, it is a way of life for Cindy Stepken and as a board member and corporate sponsorship chair, she puts those skills to good use on behalf of the organization. Cindy is also a founding member of the first Stiletto Stampede committee. As a survivor of two different types of breast cancer, whose mother was diagnosed after her, she knew this was a cause that she needed to be a part of. With her first-hand knowledge of the physical limitations and the emotional ups and downs, she knew that Stiletto Stampede and Boob Camp would be beneficial to others like her. Her experience as a survivor has created a deeply emotional connection for both Stiletto Stampede and breast cancer awareness.
Jenny Sparks, Boob Camp Program Director | A natural born leader, Jenny Sparks was a founding volunteer on the first ever Stiletto Stampede planning committee. Her tenacious personality underscored by her many years in the Physical Education and health fields have proven to be invaluable to the Stiletto Stampede organization. She was instrumental in developing BOOB CAMP for the organization and continues to manage the operations and logistics of Stampedes around the country and BOOB CAMP in Austin, Texas.
