Yoga Move of the Month: Dancer

Why We ❤ It! Besides the fact dancer makes our inner ballerina come out, there are some rockin' benefits to this pose. First, let's talk about balance. When you first attempt this pose, you may feel like a newborn baby deer–a little wobbly with some stumbles. However, as you continue to practice you will find your overall balance improving and may even find you are emotionally balanced as well. If this isn't enough to to sell you, dancer opens your chest and lungs, creating more space to breath.
Modifications: When coming forward, if you find it too difficult, only come part way into the pose.
